Rosetta Hardeman, age 75, of Altus, passed away early Saturday morning, September 16, 2006, at English Village Manor in Altus.

Rosetta was born April 15, 1931 in Douglas, Georgia to Elax Crockett and Viola Ward Crockett. She married Earnest Hardeman on August 26, 1988 at St. John's Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma. They enjoyed eighteen wonderful years of marriage together.

Rosetta had lived in the Altus community since 1983 moving here from Florida. She worked as a house keeper for several families in the Altus area. She was an active member of St. Johns Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and being with her church family. Her pastimes were spent fishing with her friends and taking care of her husband and home.
