Obituary for Ross Lee Cooper
Ross Lee (Slim) Cooper was born March 20, 1936 at Richardson, TX. He died February 3, 1996 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Ben and Lilly Bell Cooper. He was a longtime resident of Altus and Jackson County having resided here over 45 years. He was a former employee of the Altus Compress.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, at the Altus City Cemetery with the Rev. Reggie Hamilton officiating. Services will be conducted under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: two brothers, L. C. Cooper of Dallas, TX and Wilbert Cooper of Madison, TX; three sisters, Rose White of Navasota, TX, Rev. Hattie Ravon of Cold Springs, TX and Thelma Formal of Houston, TX.
