Obituary for Rotha Alma Smith
Mrs. Cecil "Rotha" Smith, age 80, died this morning (Thursday) at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 3:00 P.M., Friday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Melvin Moody. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born May 21st, 1895 in Lone Oak, AR, she was a long time resident of this area. Mrs. Smith was married at Altus on December 26, 1917 to the late Cecil Smith. Mr. Smith died a number of years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three sisters, Mrs. Carra Widby of North Little Rock, AR, Mrs. Nadine "Meridith" Christopher of Dallas, TX and Mrs. Jewell "Meridith" Crain of Benton, AR; a number of nieces and nephews.

The family requests contributions in lieu of flowers be made to a health research organization or the First Baptist Church.
