Obituary for Roy Vernon Pool
Mr. Roy Vernon Pool, age 77, of Prairie Hill, OK, died on Sunday, December 29th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at the Duke Methodist Church, Tuesday December 31, 1968, 10:00 A.M. with the Reverend Elbert Shumaker officiating and assisted by the Reverend Adrian Rea and the Reverend Ronnie Chadwick. Burial will be in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Pool was married to the former Lera Blair December 26,1915 at Prairie Hill. He was a farmer and owner/operator of the general store at Prairie Hill. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He belonged to the Woodman of the World.

He is survived by: his wife of the home; one son, Raymond of Midland, TX; one daughter, Beth Killingsworth of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Adkinson of San Diego, CA.
