Obituary for Ruby E. Stephenson
Ruby E. Stephenson was born June 12th, 1905 at Anna, Texas. She died February 26th, 1994 at the Norman Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of E. W. and Minnie Nipp. She married Lloyd Lucas Stephenson December 25, 1922 in Greer County and he preceded her in death in 1980. She was a longtime resident of Blair and Jackson County and moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 1989. She was a homemaker and member of the Blair First Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, at the Blair First Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Wiginton officiating. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: two children, Bob Stephenson and Omer Stephenson, both of Norman, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Larry Stephenson, Tim Stephenson and Sandy Bass; seven great-grandchildren, Noell Taylor, Heather Stephenson, Cole Stephenson, Catherine Bass, Sarah Bass, Anne Bass, and Patrick Bass.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lloyd Lucas Stephenson, February 6, 1980.
