Obituary for Ruby Pearl Offord
Ruby Pearl Offord was born July 30th, 1900 in Tennessee. She died April 5th, 1994 at the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, OK. She was the daughter of John and Emma Etheridge. She married Howard Offord July 28, 1921 and he preceded her in death in 1966.

Mrs. Offord came to Oklahoma in 1917 from McNair County, Tennessee. She moved to Altus in 1937 and made her home here until moving to Corn, OK in 1990. She was a longtime member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ with Bill Osborne and Ed LobTXaugh officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: two children, Nancy Carder and her husband Jimmy of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Marge Diltz of Longview, TX; four sisters, Gayle Saunders of Altus, OK, Mildred Harris and Kate Wallace, both of Dallas, TX and Faye Haley of Portland, OR; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, 9-30-66; daughter, Melba McAnallen; grandson, Bob McAnallen.
