Ruby Ruth Harris, age 92, died Wednesday night at the Lakeside Care Center in Lubbock, Texas. Gravesides services will be held at the Navajoe Cemetery Friday at 2:00pm.

Harris was born November 7, 1897 at Cuero, Texas. She married Clifford Loyd Harris December 21, 1913. She had lived in Altus since 1945 moving to the care center in November of 1988.

Survivors include two sons, Horold W. "Smokey" Harris of Lubbock, Texas, Loyd Harris of Altus; three sisters, Mildred Hartzag of Hobart, Oklahoma; Emmogene McCurdy and Velma Griffin both of Lawton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
