Obituary for Ruth Emma McVay
Ruth Emma McVay age 79 of Altus, Oklahoma died February 17, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. she was born June 25, 1885 in McKinney, Texas to William r. and Mattie A (Jones) Harper. She married H.L. McVay and he preceded her in death February 4, 1937. She had been a resident of Oklahoma since 1889.

Funeral services for Ruth Emma McVay are scheduled for February 19, 1965 at 10:00am in the Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Ruth Emma McVay is survived by one son, Don McVay, New York, one daughter Mrs. Herman Fellers, Altus, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Davis, Elk City, Oklahoma.
