Ruth Evelyn Nease, age 71 of Willow, passed away Sunday afternoon September 3, 2017, at her residence in Willow.
Mrs. Nease was born in Mangum, Oklahoma on January 27, 1946, to Wesley Oliver and Martha Ellen (Arterberry) White. After attending Mangum Schools, Ruth married Stanley Dewayne Nease on March 5, 1966 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2009. Ruth was known as a professional cake decorator and made cakes for any occasion for many different individuals. With Stanley driving a truck, Ruth devoted her time to raising their children and working in the home. For a time she worked at the Willow Caf" and raised Toy Poodles. A Christian for many years, Ruth played the piano and sang in church and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting and being with her family.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, she is survived by three children, Candy Martin and husband Rex of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Shane Nease and wife Rachel of Canyon, Texas and Kimberly Richardson and husband Michael of Altus; nine grandchildren, Eric Martin and Ashley, Kendal Hendershot and husband Kyle, Tanner Nease and wife Kaitlin, Sarah Nease, Seth Nease, Hannah Nease, Adam Roberts, Joshua Goodin and Conner Richardson; one great grandson, Eric Martin, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Ann Pate and husband Rommie and Beatrice Fern Waddell and husband James; two brothers, Oliver Ray White and wife Melissa and Winford Leon White and wife Davonna; one aunt, Juanite Wall along with many other relatives and friends.
Interment will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Blair Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 10 a.m. at the Living Water First United Pentecostal Church, in Mangum. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home, of Mangum.
