Ruth Mincey, 88, of Tuttle, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 16, 1995. Services have been scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, at the First Methodist Church of Eldorado. Gary Wilcox will be officiating. Interment will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. Mrs. Mincey was born January 27, 1907, in Carme., old Greer County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late James and Ella (Franklin) Richie. She married Johnnie E. Mincey and they lived in the Jackson County area until moving to Tuttle, Oklahoma 20 years ago. Ruth was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Tuttle. She was a member of the Midway Home Demonstration Club for many, many years. Mrs. Mincey will be taken to the Methodist Church in Eldorado by 10:30 am Thursday for local visitation.
Survivors include children, William Mincey and wife Francis of Tuttle; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Johnnie, one son, Clayton Mincey, two sisters, and three brothers.
