Sadie Blevins age 84 of Blair, Oklahoma died December 13, 1969 in Parklane Manor Nursing Home, in Altus. She was born April 12 1885 in Montgomery County, Kansas to Jesse and Susan (Vail) Foster. She married Floyd F. Blevins December 26, 1905. He Preceded her in death June 19, 1965. Sadie was a member of ;the Church of Christ in Altus, and a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1965.
Funeral services for Sadie Blevins are scheduled for Monday, December 15, 1969 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Lonzo Battles. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Sadie Blevins is survived by one son Sherman Blevins, Altus, Oklahoma; one grandson, Loren Blevins, Hurst, Texas; two great grandsons; sisters, Jessie Boyd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Ethyl Ewing, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Alma Ferguson, Moore, Oklahoma; brothers, George Foster, Harrah, Oklahoma; Ralph Foster, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Ora Foster, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
