Obituary for Sallie Elizabeth Reed
Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Reed, age 85, of Altus, OK, died on Wednesday, November 27th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ, Friday, November 29, 1968, 10:00 A.M. with the Reverend Gary Colley officiating. Burial will be in the Bowie Cemetery at Bowie, Texas where there will be a graveside at 2:00 P.M.
Mrs. Reed was married to G. C. Reed who preceded her in death in 1938. She had l;ived in Altus since 1947. She moved here from Bowie, Texas where she had lived for 37 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and W.O.W.
She is survived by: one brother, Bee Willis of Tyler, TX; two nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dobbs and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dobbs, both of Altus; five nieces, Mrs. T. M. Beach of Elmer, OK, Mrs. Clara Adams and Mrs. Alene Rosser of Lawton, OK, Mrs. Troy Morrison and Miss Nella Dobbs, of Los Angeles, CA.
