Samuel E. Harrington age 82 died in Altus, Oklahoma at Memorial Hospital in Altus February 3, 1965. He was born February 16, 1882 in Desota, Missouri to B.E. and Eliza Jane Herrington. Samuel had been a resident of Jackson County since 1926. He was a retired farmer. Samuel's wife preceded him in death April 4, 1951.
Funeral services for Samuel E. Harrington are scheduled for February 5, 1965 at 2:30pm in the Tims Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma. officiated by Rev. Bruce Thomas and Rev. Joe Laird. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Samuel E. Harrington is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Janie Buck, Grand Prarie, Texas; Fannie Bright, Amity, Arkansas; Cora Buck, Arkansas City, Kansas; C.G. Israel, Levelland, Texas; C.N. Lollis, Altus, Oklahoma; A.W. Kiser, Levelland; Ruth Word, Corsicanna, Texas; Joe Bob Witt, Headrick, Oklahoma; two sons, J. A. Herrington, Levelland, Texas; Luther Herrington Corsicanna, Texas.
