Shan McNutt, age 50 of Yukon, Oklahoma and formerly of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Shan was born in Altus, Oklahoma on July 21, 1967 to her parents Lee and Donna (Farmer) Easly. She was raised in Headrick, Oklahoma and Altus. Shan worked in advertising sales for the Altus Times and KWHW radio. Shan was married to Cary McNutt and they have spent the last twelve years together. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, playing bingo, spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her grandmother, Jackie Farmer; her mother, Donna Easly; one brother, Michael Phillips; and her granddaughter, Kylea Benivamondez; Shan is survived by her husband Cary McNutt of the home; her father, Lee Easly of Headrick; four sons, Brett Benivamondez and wife Diana of Altus; Blake Benivamondez and wife Marianna; Joshua Ornelas of Duke; and Dillon Ornelas; her stepdaughter, Haley McNutt of Mangum; her sister, Brandi Kinney of Altus; grandchildren, Bentlee, Aubree, Madison, and Brylin, and one on the way; her special friend, Sharon Luttrell and husband James of Elmer, Oklahoma; as well as nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shawn Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
