Obituary for Shelba Marguerite Weaver
Shelba Bailey Weaver age 86 of Altus, Oklahoma was born July 29, 1916 at Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late James Elmer and Lucy Jane (Brundege) Smith. Shelba died March 10, 2003 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Shelba graduated from Shawnee High School and then attended OBU. Shelba married Charlie W. Bailey January 7, 1939 and he preceded her in death March 7, 1960. She married Joseph Austin Guidinger, May 30, 1968 and he preceded her in death, December 22, 1970. She married William Woody Weaver November 24, 1980 and he preceded her in death, January 8, 1994.

Shelba was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Altus Chapter # 49 of which she served as Past Worthy Matron. She was a Life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, where she was a Past President.

Survivors incluke two daughters Charlene Frith and Howard of Altus, Maureen Zeizler of Gladwater, Texas; two sisters Madge Pike of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Norma Jane Dufrense and Andrew of El Cento, California; one brother James E. Smith and Margaret of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren Charles Tucker and Carole, of Kerrville, Texas, David Tucker and Stephanie of Atlus, Ok. Tammy Harris,Cynthia Brown eight greatgrandchildren and 3 great greatgrandchildren.

Shelba was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.

Services for Shelba (Bailey) Weaver are scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2003 at 10:30am in the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Doug Burr officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
