NEASE
Stanley Dewayne Nease, age 65, of Willow passed away late Friday evening, April 24, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Nease was born on July 21, 1943, in Blair, to Carlton and Irene (Edwards) Nease. Beginning school in Blair, he finished his school years at Cache School during the time his father was employed at the Wildlife Refuge. In the early 1960"s, he met Ruth White at a church service and they were later married on March 5, 1966, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Establishing their first home in Lawton, Stanley began working for Sears and a short time later they moved to the Dallas area where he continued working with small engines. In 1974, they moved to Mangum and in 1990, they moved to Willow where Stanley lived until his death. Working on and restoring old cars, taking care of animals of all kinds were hobbies that he carried on for a lifetime, but spending time with his family and friends was what he enjoyed the most.
Preceded in death by his parents, Stanley is survived by his wife of forty-three wonderful years, Ruth, of the home; three children, Candy Martin and husband Rex of Tecumseh, Shane Nease and wife Rachel of Canyon, Texas and Kimberly Roberts of Altus; eight grandchildren, Eric Martin, Kendal Martin, Tanner Nease, Sarah Nease, Seth Nease, Hannah Nease, Adam Roberts and Josh Goodin; one brother, Ron Nease and wife Pam of Canyon, Texas along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Stanley Nease will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009, at the Willow First United Methodist Church with Pastor Shane Nease officiating. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
