Stephen Paul Mims, age 27, of Altus, Oklahoma died April 11, 1982, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Stephen was born May 20, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico to buck and Gladys (Wilson) Mims. He graduated from Altus High School in 1972. He worked and was part owner in Anna Belle's restaurant, moving back to Altus in January of 1982.
Funeral services for Stephen Paul Mims are scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 1982 at 2 pm in the Southside Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Don Beall and Stan Bratcher. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Stephen is survived by his father, Buck Mims, Altus, Oklahoma; one sister, Sherry Stillwell, Altus, Oklahoma; one nephew Chris, Altus; two nieces, Stacey, Altus, and Susan, Altus. Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Mims in 1975, one brother, Buddy Mims in 1978.
