STEVEN DARRYL SMITH
Steven Darryl Smith was born on February 16, 1969 in Susanville, CA. He is survived by his wife Delia (Rimes) Smith parents Darryl and Nyeeta Smith of Altus, OK, sons Marc Rimes and wife Robin, Wes Rimes and Meric Rimes and several grandchildren. He was Pawpaw to most of them, sister Shawn (Smith) Morgan-Lemons (& husband Joe Lemons) of Dallas, TX, brother Shane Smith of Altus, OK, nephew Jason Morgan (& wife Allison Morgan) of McKinney, TX, niece Haley Morgan of Plano, TX, niece Macey Morgan of Belgrade, MT, nephew Aaron Smith (& wife Felicia Smith) of Oklahoma City, OK, niece Diane Lemons of McKinney, TX, niece Laney Perry-Morgan of Dallas, TX, great nephew Jadon Morgan of McKinney, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wallace and Myrtle Smith of Shamrock, TX, grandfather Troy Drury of Altus, OK, grandmother Betty Cosyns of Madera, CA, and sister-in-law Jennifer Garrett-Smith of Altus, OK.
Steven attended Will Rogers Elementary School, Northeast Jr High School and Navajo School in Altus, OK. He enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing and socializing with his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor & was always gentle, kind and compassionate toward others.
Steven was surrounded by family when he passed away on September 27, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. He will be greatly missed by both his family and many friends.
