Obituary for Tamara Renee Sharp
Tamara Jenkins Sharp was born September 27th, 1960 at Altus, Oklahoma. She died March 30th, 2002 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Tamara graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 1978. She was a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State College, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in 1983 and her Master's Degree in the Spring of 1984. In 1991 she continued her education, receiving her Counseling Degree. She attended the First Baptist Church of Tipton. She taught Home Economics at Tipton High School and also served at the Middle School as the guidance counselor. Tamara married Dallas Leroy Sharp June 7, 1985 in Altus, Oklahoma.
Survivors include: her husband Dallas Leroy Sharp of Tipton, Oklahoma; a daughter, Courtney Malone Sharp of Tipton, OK; a step-daughter, Nicole Ivy of Killeen, TX; her mother, Marilyn Kroll and husband David of Altus, OK; her father, James Jenkins and wife Pat of Altus, OK; grandmother, Nelda Maley of El Cajon, CA; one brother, Randy Jenkins and wife Sandi of Yukon, OK; one niece, Jessica Jenkins of Stillwater, OK; two sisters-in-laws, Brenda Eccles of Purcell, OK and Linda Eccles of Bing, OK; two brothers-in-laws, Larry Sharp of Wichita Falls, TX and Quinton Sharp and wife Susan of Tipton, OK; three aunts, Susan McLoud of El Cajon, CA, Veva McClung of Tulsa, OK and Markey Jenkins of Pittsburg, TX; three uncles, Mack Jenkins of Pittsburg, TX, Jim Maley of Anchorage, Alaska and Paul David Maley of Beaumont, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Eldon Maley and one brother, David Mark Jenkins.
Services for Tamara are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Altus with Reverend John Yeats officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
The family of Tamara Sharp will greet friends Monday, April 1, 2002 at Lowell Tims Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
