Obituary for Thomas Cornelis Kilgore
Thomas Cornelis Kilgore, 64, long-time resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away January 18, 2021, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.
Thomas was born to Therman King and Willie Mae Kilgore on September 18, 1956, in Clinton, Oklahoma. He was raised and educated in Mangum, Oklahoma. Thomas was given the nickname “Baby Boy Kilgore” He loved listening to the blues and enjoying company with his friends and family. Thomas worked for many years for the sanitation department in Mangum, Oklahoma. He was known as a “Lady’s Man” He enjoyed riding and cruzing around Mangum. His daily routine started by going to the Loop for a large mountain dew, getting donuts and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit every day, then making blocks with his brother-in-law, but the thing he enjoyed the must was spending time with his friends and family. He was a Christian who loved Jesus Christ with all his heart.
Thomas has been reunited in heaven to his father, Therman King, his Mother, Willie Mae Kilgore, brother, Marshall Ray, and Sherry Epperson.
Left to honor his memory is his daughter, Rachel Lawrimore and husband Roy of Mangum, Oklahoma, brother, Gary Franklin and wife Susan of Ardmore, Oklahoma sisters, Candy Williams and husband Myron of Mangum, Oklahoma, Carolyn Ganaway of Hobart, Oklahoma, Maureen of Mangum, Oklahoma, Uncle, Lenard Vickers and wife Letisha and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved Thomas dearly.
