Obituary for Thomas D. Stewart
Thomas Stewart, 62, a resident of Gould, Oklahoma passed at his home surrounded by his family.
Thomas was born August 6, 1960, in Glendale, California to L.D. Stewart and Suzanne Livingston. He was raised on the dirt roads of Dodson, Texas and the busy streets of California. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic and a Heavy Equipment Operator. Thomas lived all over the United States moving from job site to job site and he loved his nomadic life.
When he wasn't busy working he enjoyed building bikes, camping, creating and inventing new machinery, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandbabies.
He was an eccentric man who was set in his ways but had incredible devotion and love for his family and friends. Thomas was extremely talented and could build anything out of nothing, his ingenuity and engineering skills were unmatched. Greater than his fabrication skills were his love and devotion to his family. He always had a smile on his face, no matter how much pain he was in his smile never left his face.
Thomas leaves a legacy of hardwork, dedication, and love to his family.
He was preceded in death by his Father, L. D. Stewart; Sisters, Amanda Hubanks, and Tammy Stewart.
Left to honor Thomas' memory are his Son, Maxwell Garner; Daughters, Jessica Stewart, Kressida Stewart Melton, Sisters, Latresa Stewart Vincent, Leah Stewart, Grandchildren, Kassie Melton, Hayden Melton, Thomas Stewart, Adarra Brown, Seth Garner, Chase Garner, Joanna Smith, and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and his friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
