Obituary for Trinidad Perez Maldonado
MALDONADO
Trinidad Perez Maldonado, age 78, of Wichita Falls, Texas formerly of Altus, passed away at her home Saturday morning, August 8, 2009.
Mrs. Maldonado was born on April 20, 1931, in Geronimo, Texas, to Francisco and Andrea (Hernandez) Perez. In 1948, she married Miguel Vasquez Maldonado and they lived several different places due to his employment. In 1954, the family moved to Altus where they made their home and she took care of her family as a homemaker and Mike did painting and carpentry work. After her husband"s death in 1982, she lived in Altus until 1989, when she moved to Wichita Falls, Texas to be closer to her family. A devoted Christian, Trine, loved her church and was always helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Lucinda Maldonado; one grandson, David Maldonado; two great grandsons, Ryan Isaac Basaldua and Jose Lewis Magana, Jr. and two sons-in-law, Thomas Rodrigues and Ruben Zuniga. She is survived by thirteen children, John Maldonado of Altus, Ruby Zuniga of Wichita Falls, Texas, Amelia Bustos of Wichita Falls, Texas, Lucio Maldonado of Abilene, Texas, Margarita Rodriguez of Altus, Minnie Chase of Morrilton, Arkansas, Yolanda Maldonado of Altus, Freddy Maldonado of Wichita Falls, Texas, JoAnn Woodin of San Antonio, Texas, Mary Lou Henderson of Altus, Mary Ann Martinez of Jacksboro, Texas, Alex Maldonado of Cleburne, Texas and Andrea Maldonado of Wichita Falls, Texas; four step children, Ysidro Maldonado of Wichita Falls, Texas, Maria Flores of Abilene, Texas, Gloria Davila of Farmers Branch, Texas and Miguel Maldonado, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas; fifty-three grandchildren; sixty-five great grandchildren and may other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Trine Maldonado will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Cletus Jeffcoats and Brother Joe Tovar officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
The family will greet friends at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 6 until 7 p.m.
