Trula Ethel Hutchinson
Former Hess resident, Trula Ethel Hutchinson, age 83, of Duncan, Oklahoma was born July 15th, 1912, in Hess, the daughter of Joe and Rosa White Bartley. She was a lifetime resident of Jackson County. Mrs Hutchinson passed away Friday, August 11, 1995, in a Duncan Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
On October 3, 1931, she and James M. "Jamie" Hutchinson were united in marriage at Hess, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Christadelphian Church.
Trula was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jamie. She is survived by Three Children: Marcia Harlow and husband Guy of Duncan, Oklahoma, Hoyt Hutchinson and wife Mary of Mayhill, New Mexico and Juanell Hunter and husband Don of Denver City, Texas., Two sisters, Mary McGee of Olustee, Oklahoma and Nadine Walker of Moultrie, Georgia. Five grandchildren, Rockelle Hodges, LaRonad Hutchinson Cheryl Hutchinson, Brad Harlow and Tonya Moore; Two Great-Grandchildren; Nicole and Blake Hodges.
Funeral Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, August 14, 1995, in the Lowell-Tims Chapel, Altus with Rev. Randy Southerland, Duncan, officiating. Burial will be in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. The family will gather prior to the service for visitation.
