Funeral services for U.S. Garrison, 77, of Altus are scheduled for 10:00am Monday, January 11 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel. Alvin Garrison will officiate. Burial will be in the Altus Cemetery. Mr. Garrison died Saturday January 9, in Oklahoma City Hospital. Mr. Garrison was born May 31. 1915 here in Jackson County. to U.S. and Martha Olivea Garrison. At the young age of 17 he was baptized into the Baptist Church. On December 27, 1932 he married Mary Alice Dicks in Sayer. He was along time farmer in this area. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include wife Mary Alice Garrison of the home; children Jane Gay and husband Bill of Altus, Phillip Garrison and wife Margie of Norman; brother Jess Garrison of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister, Hazel Rodebush of Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and host of other relatives.

Preceded in death by parents and six brothers.
