Valerie Jean Brown, age 66, of Altus, passed away, Friday, June 10, 2016, at her residence, in Altus. Mrs. Brown was born on November 6, 1949, in Tacoma, Washington to Arthur Reid and Pauline (Hoover) Withrow. She moved to Altus a short time ago to be near her daughter, Heather Gartch, and family.

A private, family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
