Obituary for Vannie Johnson
Vannie Johnson age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma died December 25, 1976 at Taylor's Nursing Home in Altus. Vannie was born February 26, 1874 in Wayne County, Kentucky to Frank Tolar. She married E. M. Johnson and he preceded her in death September 1916. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Services for Vannie Johnson are scheduled for Wednesday December 28, 1967 at 2:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Bill Walker. Burial will follow in the Navajoe Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Vannie Johnson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Verbie Stewart, Blair, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Clara McCarty, Jacksonville, Illinois; Mrs Ema Smith, Jacksonville, Illinois; one half-brother, Ranson Tolar, Kentucky.
