Obituary for Velma Busby
Velma Busby, age 68, passed away Sunday, April 16th, 1989 at the Tillman County Memorial Hospital. Services have been set for Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by The Reverend T.O. Parsons and Reverent Micheal Crum. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born May 24, 1920 at Altus, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William and Rosa Mae Busby. She had been a resident of the Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder for many years.

Survivors include: four sisters, W. T. Busby of Blair and Melvin Busby of Altus; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Daniel of Seeley, CA, Mrs. Bonnie Elliott of Lubbock, TX, Mrs. "Bill" Douglas of Altus and Mrs. Oletta Hatton of Altus; seven nieces; four nephews.
