Goolsby, 80, who passed away on August 19th, 1993 in Altus, Oklahoma have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. at the Lowell Tims Chapel with Ardron Hinton and Charles Waugh officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Mrs Goolsby was born January 156, l913 in Greenville, Texas to Willis aned Minnie Rollins. She moved to the Altus area as a small child. She married R. D. Roberson and he preceded her in death in l978. She married A. B. Goolsby November 21, 1981 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Warren Church of Christ.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, her first husband R. D. Roberson Sr. and one grandson.
She is survived by her husband A. B. Goolsby of the Home in Altus, two sons, R. D. (Red) Roberson and wife Wanda of Altus, Oklahoma and Buddy Roberson also of Altus, Oklahoma, one sister, Ruby Kastner of Altus, Oklahoma. Step Children James Goolsby of Weatherford, Texas andHarriso9n Goolsby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Five Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and Six step Grandchildren.
