Vera Shelton Moore was born August 8 1905 North of McQueen, Oklahoma Her parents were Walter and Ida Shelton. She accepted Christ as her savior when she was 10 years of age and joined the First Baptist Church at Shrewder. She married Jesse Moore December 23, 1923 from which two sons, Robert J. and Merle were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse and Their son Robert J., her parents and three sisters

Surviving her are one son Merle
Wayne of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One grandson Gary Bob of Altus, Oklahoma, four granddaughters, Debbie Moore, Duke, Oklahoma, Sherri Whitlock, Columbia, South Carolina, Vicki Bennett and Julianne Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma ; three Nieces; two Nephews and six great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, September 25th, 2000 at Duke Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Foreman Officiating. Interment will follow at the Russell Cemetery with Lowell Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
