Viola Odessa "Bonnie" Inklebarger, age 71, of Blair, passed away early Friday morning, January 31, 2014, at her residence, in Blair.

Bonnie was born in Capulin, New Mexico on June 18, 1942, to Dewey Gerald and Odessa Viola (Martin) Munden. Growing up in and around Capulin and Raton, she was known as Dessie. She attended school in Des Moines, New Mexico, where she graduated high school. Bonnie moved to Oklahoma in 1970 where she raised three beautiful children. She later attended Great Plains Technology Center, where she received her license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Bonnie worked at Comanche County Memorial Hospital until early 1993. She married Gary Inklebarger on April 11, 1993, in Blair, Oklahoma. Bonnie began work at the Family Medical Clinic, in Altus, where she continued working until her retirement, fulfilling her vocation as a nurse for over twenty-six years. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed spending time on the farm, watching wildlife. She also enjoyed doing crafts, making quilts and baby blankets, sewing, crocheting, painting, reading, cooking, playing games, playing with her bulldog, Pugsly and being with her family and friends, especially her two granddaughters.

Preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Barbara Munden and five brothers, Frank, Don, Gene, Fred and Dave, she is survived by three children, John G. Bonomelli of Apache, Oklahoma, James R. Bonomelli of Hominy, Oklahoma and Terri L. Slavings and husband Lonnie of Graham, Texas; two granddaughters, Annie Slavings and Kaitlyn Slavings of Graham, Texas; a special sister-in- law, Frankie Rambo; a special niece, Misty Rambo and husband Patrick, of the US Navy stationed at Sasebo, Japan, along with three special friends, Mary, Shelby and Brandee and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Bonnie Inklebarger will be at 2 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Cummins officiating. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
