Violet E. Elms was born on October 7, l907 in Headrick, Oklahoma to John and Rose Bessire Lowry. She passed away o September 24, 1993 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Violet was married to Joseph Francis (Frank) Elms on December 24, 1925 at Hess, Oklahoma.
Frank preceded her in death on June 15, 1986. She is survived by 3 Sisters, Pat Carrell of Altus, Oklahoma, Johnnie Hoel of Belleville, Illinois and Nell Mather of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Services were held on September 27, 1993 with burial at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
