Obituary for Wanda Lou Schnorrenberg
Funeral service for Wanda Schnorrenberg, 94, Altus, Oklahoma will be at Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating.
Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M.
Mrs Schnorrenberg passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Tamarack assisted living center.
Wanda Schnorrenberg was born to Cleo and Myrtle (Oliver) Coalson in Shamrock, Texas on August 12, 1920. She graduated from Warren High School in 1937. Wanda married James Lawton Schnorrenberg in Warren on October 8, 1937 and they had three children. After her children graduated from school she went to work to be a teachers aide at Navajo Schools for over 25 years. She was a lifelong member of Friendship Methodist Church until it closed its doors in 1982, she was currently a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed to cook, embroider, to sew, jigsaw puzzles, helping others and cooking for her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, a brother and a daughter in law, Sharron Schnorrenberg.
Survivors include two sons, Nick Schnorrenberg of Oklahoma City and Reid Schnorrenberg and wife Debbie of Marietta, OK; a daughter, Suzy and husband Billy Schwarz of Comanche, OK; five grandchildren, Keith and wife Tammy, Michael and wife Kimberly, Stacy and husband Don, Robin and Rachel and husband Jace; 14 great grandchildren, Michelle, Bailey, Garrett, Luke, Matthew, Jacob, Allison, Raegen, Reagan, Remington, Joley, Bailey, Tensley and Austin; a great great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Betty Burt of Riverside, CA and Juanita Yates of Corona, CA and many other relatives and friends.
