Obituary for Wanda Sue Henry
Sue Henry, 68, died Tuesday evening at Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Services will be held at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ on Thursday the 6th of March at 3:30pm with Ed Lobaugh and Bill Osborne officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Sue was born February 10, 1929, to Tom and Juanita Fails at Jester Oklahoma. She married Billy Robert Henry on August 14, 1952 and lived all of her life in Jackson County. Sue taught school at Southeast and Northeast Junior Highs in Altus for 27 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Elm and Hudson /Church of Christ and the Jackson County Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Bob of the home, Jerry Don and his wife Donna along with three granddaughters, Kerri, Jamie, and Kadi Henry all of Altus. One sister, Peggy Cleere of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy robert, in 1985; brothers, Cleburne Fails, Cecil Fails, Colbert Fails, G.Y. Fails, and one sister Mable Brumley.
