Obituary for Wayne Anderson Glenn
Wayne Anderson Glenn was born October 30, 1939, in the home in Hess, Oklahoma to Joseph F. and Iva Glenn. He passed on the morning of November 10th, 1998.

On January 13, 1962, Wayne and Delores Kay (Lane) were united in marriage at Hess, Oklahoma.

Wayne was raised in the Elmer and Hess area where he attended school at Southside. He worked with his family on the farm while growing up. He attended college in Weatherford. Wayne joined the National Guard in 1960, after six months he was on reserve duty until 1965. He farmed in the Elmer/Hess area all of his life.

Mr. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Iva and Joseph and a sister, Billie Marie.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Glenn of Altus; two sons, Larry Glenn of Altus and Steve Glenn of Tipton, OK; one brother, Donald Joe Glenn and his wife Barbara of Altus; and sisters, Sherry Finley and husband Harold of Elmer, Oklahoma and Barbara Delaney of Prattville, Alabama. Also surviving are three grandsons, Landon, Logan and Tanner Glenn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14th, 1998, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Don Harold and Sonny Tims officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
