Obituary for Wilber Rodney Pool
Wilber Rodney Pool, age 75, of Altus, passed away November 23, 1982, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Wilber was born July 5, 1907, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs Wellington Alvin Pool. He married Lillian Conner and lived most of his life in southwest Oklahoma. Wilber was a rammer and Gin Manager in the Friendship community. In 1951 he became a partner in Pool's Machine.
Wilber was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church and Altus Masonic Lodge.
Funeral Services for Wilber Pool are scheduled for Friday, November 26, 1982 in Tims Chapel of Memories, Altus, officiated by Rev. Bill Moss. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Wilber is survived by his wife, Lillian of the home in Altus; sons, Bill Pool, Lubbock, Texas; Jim Pool, Midland, Texas; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother, Alvin Pool, Altus, Oklahoma.
