Obituary for Wilie Marie Crawford
Willie Marie Henderson Crawford, 91, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 1995 at a local nursing home. Mrs Crawford was born July 25, 1903, in Breemond, Texas to Maggie Gray. Marie married R.L. Crawford on July 9, 1974 in Altus, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death. Marie was a housewife and a very active member of her church. She has been a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church for a long, long time.
Mrs Crawford was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Ira Gray Sr. and Jordan Gray; and one sister, Alberta Furlow; and her best friend, Janie Chandler.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. and Christine Hamilton, Jr.; six grandchildren, Bobby, Charles, Jerry L., Geraldine, Arlene, and Clarence W. Hamilton , all of Williamsburg, Virginia; five step-grandchildren, Shirley Williams, Parrish Fields, Darlene Tett, Walter Fields and Richard Fields; we great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relations.
