Will Evans age 64 of Altus, Oklahoma died June 25, 1969 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born July 7, 1904 in Jefferson, Texas. He married Rosa Lee Martin February 5, 1940..He was laborer at the cotton compress in Altus. He had lived in Altus since 1932.

Funeral services for Will Evans is scheduled for 11:00am Monday June 30, 1969 in the Nona Church of God in Christ officiated by Rev. M.D. Taylor. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Will Evans is survived by his wife Rosa of the home in Altus, one sister, Verrie Simmon, California; two brothers, Rev. William Evans, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Aurther Evans, Jefferson Texas; several nieces and nephews.
