Obituary for Willard Osborn Garvin
Mr. Willard Osborn Garvin, age 92, of Altus, died on January 23rd, 1977 at the Altus House Nursing Home in Altus, OK from an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 25, 1977 at the Tims Chapel with the Reverend Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will be in the Denison Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
Mr. Garvin was born December 16th, 1885 in McKinney, Texas. He was married to the former Minnie Provence on October 4, 1903 in Jesse, OK. She preceded him in death in 1965. He belonged to the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: four daughters, Opal Crow of Ft. Supply, OK, Monata Atkins of Visalia, CA, India Price of Stamford,. Texas and Oneto Cosley of Phoenix, AZ; four brothers, E. J. and Haskell, both of Denison, TX, W.O. and Bull of Altus; 25 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
