Obituary for William Bennie Tinney
Mr. William Bennie Tinney, age 65, 1012 N. Willard, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo, following a long illness.

Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 A.M., officiated by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of Altus Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born May 22nd, 1915 at Olustee, he was married in Altus April 12, 1940 to the former Chalton Ledbetter who survives. He was a retired employee with Phillips Petroleum Company in Borger, Texas and a Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: two sons, B.R. And J.L. Tinney of Altus; two daughters, Pattilea Wilson of Altus and Jonita Pritchard of Carlsbad, NM; one sister, Rosa Lee Duke of Altus; one brother, James Luke Tinney of Ft. Worth, Texas; 19 grandchildren.
