Obituary for William Denzil Moon
William Denzil Moon was born November 11, 1918 at Gould, OK. He died June 15, 1`992 at the Veteran's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He married Julia Marie Chesser on November 21, 1984 at Vernon, TX. He was the owner of his own body shop in Altus for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in Europe during the war. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association and of the VFW. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He had been a lifelong resident of Jackson County.

Services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday, June 19, 1992 at the First Assembly of God with Dr. Richard Ventonis officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Julia Marie Moon of the home; three children, Becky Van Hoozer of Lawton, OK, Burgan Edgeworth of Las Vegas, NV and Tommy Edgeworth of Walters, OK; six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters; two brothers.
