Willie J. Shaw was born August 1st, 1914 in Kemp, Texas to Steve and Cinderella Shaw. He died on June 17th, 1990 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a member of the St. John's Baptist Church. He moved to Altus, OK in 1946 from Kemp, Texas.
Survivors include: his wife, Gladys Shaw of the home; six children, Willie J. Shaw, Jr., Charles Shaw, Brady Shaw, Sherry Shaw, Roger Shaw and Angela Shaw, all of Altus, OK; four nieces, Freddie Givens of Dallas, TX, Lola Love of Tulsa, OK, Bernice Brown of Amarillo, TX and Easter Shaw of Melissa, TX; 24 grandchildren; a host of other friends and relatives.
