Obituary for Willie James Buckner Jr.
Willie James Buckner Jr., age 24, former Altus resident, died Wednesday at Grassland Hospital, Yonkers, New York, following surgery.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 A.M., Tuesday morning at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by the Reverend M. V. Lee. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born June 30th, 1948 in Altus, he was the son of Willie James Buckner, Sr. and the now Mrs. Tammi Jean Epperson. He was a veteran of Viet Nam and was employed in New York City at the time of his death.

Additional survivors include: a daughter, Tami Tyrell Buckner of Erwin, NC; three brothers, Howard of Altus, Franklin and Delbert of Lubbock, TX; six sisters, Mrs. Wilma Johnson, Gladys and Della Buckner of Altus, Beverly and Dorothy of Lubbock and Miss Sharon Epperson, also of Lubbock.
