Willie Ray Cobb, Jr., age 8, of Altus, died September 9, 1968 after drowning in an irrigation canal behind his home.
Funeral services will be held at Tims Funeral Home, September 12, 1968, 2:00 P.M., with Lt Col O. L. McCormack officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Heath Cemetery in Shreveport, LA.
He is survived by: his Mother and Father, Sgt and Mrs. Willie Ray Cobb, Sr of Altus; one brother, George W. King of Morgan Field, KY; two sisters, Nancy Elizabeth King and Edna Faye Cobb of the home; grandparents, Mrs. T.A. Cobb of Shreveport, LA and Mrs. Bryan Miller of Providence, KY; great-grandparent, Mrs. Jim Shelton of Clay, KY.
