Wilma Lee Warren, 95 of Duke passed away Sunday, March 28k at English
Village Nursing Home in Altus.
She was born September 19, 1911 in Duke to Jesse and Agnes Dowdy Madden.
She married Arnold Warren in July 1934 at Mangum, Oklahoma. he preceded her in death in September 1978. She lived all of her life in Duke.
Wilma was a home-maker and a life-long member of Duke First Baptist Church where she was a church clerk for 40 years. She also taught a beginners Sunday School class for several years.
She is survived by one son, Reid and Wife Deronda of Duke; two daughters, Gayle Hatchett of Huntsville, AL and Rita Minor and husband Roy of Lawton; and a daughter-in-law Sue Warren of Lawton. Wilma is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son Dale Warren of Lawton, 1 son-in-law Monte Hatchett of Huntsville, AL, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services for Wilma L. Warren are scheduled for Wednesday March 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Duke First Baptist Church with Ralph Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Rock Cemetery. Lowell-Tims are in charge of services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to JCMH Hospice or Duke First Baptist Church.
