Services for Woodrow W. Reeves, 81, of Duke are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Thomas Street Church of Christ in Altus. Officiating will be Joe Preston, minister of the Warren Church of Christ, and both former ministers of the Duke Church of Christ, and David Lovejoy, the current minister of the Duke Church of Christ. Mr. Reeves died Wednesday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was born a Pflugerville, Texas on May 2, 1912. He moved to Tipton in 1952 and then to the Victory community in 1926.

He married Rosa L. Heidenreich on January 7, 1933, and moved to Duke shortly thereafter. She died in 1985.

A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, Mr. Reeves farmed in the Duke community for more than 60 years.

Mr. Reeves is survived by two grandchildren, Mike and Kathy Reeves and greatgrandson, Nicholas; two brother-in-laws, Walter Heidenreich and L.V. Thomas
