Worthy Summers age 82 of Altus, Oklahoma died December 12, 1964 in Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 11,1882 in Glenville, West Virginia to Bruce and Ella (Arnold) Summers. He married Myrtle Hudson March 26, 1907. He came to southwest Oklahoma in 1901. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a retired farmer.
Funeral services for Worthy Summers are scheduled for December 14, 1964 at 10:00am in the
Baptist Church in Humphreys Oklahoma, officiated by Ted Louage, Arthur Tigert, J.J. Evans and Noel George. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Worthy Summers is survived by his wife Myrtle of the home in Altus; two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Dabb, Mrs Raymond Zinn, one son Trilbes Summers, Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two brothers, Hugh Summers, Pennsylvania; Oron Summers, Clarksburg, West Virginia; one sister Mrs Cook, California.
