Obituary for Zenaida Nunez Gallegos
Zenaida Nunez Gallegos, 44, resident of Hollis, Oklahoma, and former resident of Plainview, Texas passed away at her home in Hollis, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.
Zenaida was born January 29, 1977, in Plainview, Texas to Ricardo R. Nunez Sr. and Ramona (Sanchez) Nunez. She was raised and educated in Plainview, Texas. She worked as a certified nurse's aid in-home health care. Zenaida was a caregiver thru and thru, she loved caring for her patients, her friends, but most of all she loved caring for her family.
She enjoyed gardening, riding bicycles, spending time with her family, reading her bible, and cooking in which she made the best enchiladas and rice. Zenaida was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and attended with her mother, Templo La Hermosa in Hollis, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her parents, Ricardo R. Nunez Sr. and Ramona (Sanchez) Nunez; Sons, Fernando Jose Luis Gallegos and wife Savanah, Matthew Renee Gallegos and wife Kirsty, Daughter, Gabriella Gallegos; three brothers, Ricardo Nunez, Jr., Fabian Nunez and wife Tina, Rocky Nunez and wife Candi, Sister, Tina Cordero, and spouse Juan Cordera; special sister, Angellena Nunez; Grandchildren, Joseph Erza Gallegos, Autumn Reese Gallegos, Paisley Lynn Gallegos, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A prayer/visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel, Hollis, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Templo La Hermosa in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at McKnight Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma with Ricardo Nunez, Fabian Nunez, Rocky Nunez, Fernando Gallegos, Matthew Gallegos, Juan Cordero, Sebastian Nunez, Luis Cordero serving as pallbearers.
